Barbara Woodhead Winder

Barbara was born & raised in Midvale. She was active in the community and served on many presidencies and boards in that area.

She met & married Richard Winder in 1951. They raised their family on a little rural road  (Winder Lane) on the Winder Dairy Farm in Granger

The community loved Barbara. She was a gatherer, hosting family and community events at her home. Many of us have benefited from her kindness and welcoming nature. She served locally and also nationally on the Dairy Council. She served locally in many positions. She served as the LDS General Relief Society President from 1984-1990. She was wise and kind. Her advice and well-written talks benefited woman all over the world.

She and Richard were a marvelous team. They were always serving together and helping others as a team. She was very inspirational. She made a difference in not only the Granger/Hunter area but all over the world. She passed away in 2017
