Norm's American Service Station

Norm’s American Service Center was a trusted one-stop auto shop located at 2719 W. 3500 South. 

known for its extended hours and wide range of automotive services. Owned by Norman J. Stark with Leon Stark as assistant manager, the shop offered everything from engine tune-ups and brake work to tires, batteries, and accessories. Open seven days a week, it became a reliable go-to for West Valley drivers in need of quick, expert care—often long after other garages had closed for the day.

He was also a wonderful family man. He raised his family in the Hillsdale Subdivision, living In the home on Barney from the 1950's until his death July 2018

Norm was very active in the community. He served in many positions in the LDS Church including Bishop. He helped many in the community.

Norm passed away July 2018. We were always so fortunate to have him as a local business owner, neighbor, leader, and friend.
