Chuck Todd: From Trails to Trailers, A Life Well Lived
Chuck Todd: A Life of Faith, Family, and Hard Work
Chuck Todd, born April 1, 1952, was the son of Fred Todd and co-owner of TWAMCO (Todd Welding and Machine Company-1920 W 3500 So). He inherited his father’s mechanical talent and work ethic, dedicating his life to building trailers, maintaining the family business, and leaving a lasting mark on the Granger and West Valley communities.
Chuck was a man of strength and humility. He labored with hands as skilled in craftsmanship as they were gentle in care, carrying both responsibility and kindness wherever he went. Known for his sharp sense of humor, Chuck embraced life fully, living as an April Fools’ baby true to form, quick to smile, slow to anger, and authentic in all his dealings.
Faith guided Chuck’s every step. He found God in the desert, in a neighbor’s home, and on the church pew. Steadfast in his beliefs, he served others with gratitude for life’s blessings, giving generously of his time and talents.
Adventure was his constant companion. Whether climbing mountains, crossing rivers, or guiding children on trails, Chuck faced challenges with humility and courage. He rode his bike to work through snow like a horse on a mission and treated every project—especially building TWAMCO trailers—with precision, sweat, and devotion to family legacy.
Chuck’s family was his greatest joy. He loved his wife Janeen, who was his calm in the storm and his refuge. Together, they raised children who became the heart of their lives: Duston (Kate), Jody, Jennifer (Jason), and Emily, along with grandchildren who carry forward his spirit.
Chuck Todd passed away on January 8, 2015, surrounded by the love of his family. He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and man of integrity whose life was defined by faith, hard work, adventure, and love.
