In 1946 A plaque honoring 3 Granger men killed during World War II was displayed at the Granger Chapel (The plaque was sponsored by William D Hill and Albert Hogan and

Charles Cannon Winder was killed in the line of action at age 23.

A Welcome Home party for the 125 service men and women of Granger was held Thurday at the Granger 1st LDS Ward 3200 W 3500 S.
We extend our deepest gratitude to each of these individuals. Their service stands as a testament to the strength and spirit of our community.
