In 1937, Gloria Orr, the brown-eyed daughter of Wallace W. and Emily Orr of Granger, made local history when she was crowned Queen of the very first Salt Lake County Fair. Her reign became a point of pride for the community and a symbol of Granger’s growing presence in county events.
