Estel L. Wright (1893–1986) – A Builder of Granger’s Future
- 1893 – Born in Idaho. 
- Raised – On a fruit farm in Oregon. 
- 1919 – Came to Salt Lake City, Utah. 
- 1923 – Joined American Building and Loan Company (later American Savings Company). 
- 1940 – Married Leah Mouritsen. 
- 1943 – Moved to Granger, Utah. Purchased property and began land development. 
- 1940s–1950s – Active in community and LDS Church leadership; served as Bishop of the Granger Ward. 
- 1955 – Instrumental in securing the Granger-Hunter water line. Prior to this, residents relied on private wells. 
- 1950s–1960s – Helped obtain sewer services for the growing Granger-Hunter area.

- Vice President & later Chairman – American Savings and Loan. 
- President – American Housing Corporation. 
- Owner/President – Wright Realty, Inc. 
- President – American Insurance and Investment Co.

Personal Life
- Residence: 2767 Marcus Rd., Granger. 
- Earlier residence: 2727 W. 3500 South, where he kept a garden and chickens, generously sharing produce with neighbors. 
- Passionate about travel (especially archaeology in Mexico).
