Don Antonio.............Gonzales

(Don)Antonio Gonzalas never stood still.

He brought joy to everyone that knew him. 

He was born in New Mexico, served in the Marine Corps during WWII. After the war, he moved to Brigham city and opened a Taxi Service. He met his beautiful wife Dora and together they opened a grocery store in Salt Lake.

(Don) Antonion worked part-time at the Salt Lake Tampico's Restaurant and soon became partners in the Sugarhouse Tampico's and then opened the Granger Tampico's. After a few years, he renamed the business Don Antonio's

He loved his customers and treated everyone that walked in the restaurant's doors like family. He had a welcoming, warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes. He was a true gentleman with a witty personality.  His food was always delicious

Antonio passed away in 2014

Don Antonion's Mexican/American Food was located at 2016 w 3500 so
